Sublime performance of Sigur Rós in Montreal
Rarely used the word to describe a sublime spectacle. Is it too strong to describe the Sigur Rós yesterday in Montreal? Not if we rely on the definition of "Who is perfect in its kind. '

It was last August. Sigur Rós participated at Osheaga in Montreal. The Icelandic band gave a performance at the height of his talent, but stripped of all artifice. Hence the surprise at seeing the deployment stage the spectacle of this new world tour, which stopped in the city on Wednesday night.
Eyeful
Six thousand people attended the show, as saying a "small" Bell Centre. Despite the vast space, the group has managed to create an intimacy with the coating visually embodied more than Madonna and more artistic than Bon Jovi.
Like in the movies
The show opened on large white canvases on which were projected abstract images intriguing. We could barely Group's presence until we discovered the musicians shadows. In the third song, the screens have fallen to reveal Jonsi (singer) and 10 musicians (including a trio of strings and a brass trio).
For two hours, the visual design and projections Bruno Poet Sarah Hopper managed to surprise and to give each piece its own visual world. The transition from one to the other caused a mesmerizing effect that supported the ethereal music without him shade.

The music of Sigur Rós is known to be hovering, but performance is not roaring. Far from being linear, the show includes powerful musical vibrate mounted to the core. A show that we fathom the emotions while dazzling us. So I would say it was sublime.
