U.S. co-producer Patrick Ewald and Shaked Berenson have acquired the rights to a book written by Messi sports journalist Luca Caioli entitled Messi: The Inside Story of the Boy Who Became a Legend. They plan to produce a "biopic" - biographical feature - the Argentine soccer star, considered by some as the best football player of all time.
Everything has already been planned for the film's release coincides with the 2014 World Cup, to be held in Brazil from 12 June 2014.
