Ubuntu 13.04: Preparing for the future

Ubuntu 13.04: Preparing for the future - Canonical today launched the 13.04 version of its popular Ubuntu Linux distribution. Raring Ringtail offers little new for users, but much work has been done under the bodywork to allow the operating system to be faster and more efficient, especially on poorly performing systems.

Changes to Ubuntu are particularly important when the intentions of Canonical is known to offer its system on all possible screens, including tablet computers, the téviseurs and smartphones.

Yes, users of the PC version that are equipped with an aging computer will benefit some of these improvements, but Raring Ringtail is definitely a transition, which should eventually greatly facilitate the deployment of Ubuntu on mobile devices.

Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail but still offers some new features for users. Some menus have been especially refined, animations have been improved and the system now manages particularly our various online accounts.

A new search filter also allows you to search all the photos on his computer in his online accounts, and it is possible to search in its various social messages (Twitter etc..) Directly from the Unity interface. Personally, I do not, however, been impressed beyond measure by the latter two features.
